Freeman W. Colwell, Fruitland, Dies Fri.

Services for Freeman Wilbert Colwell, 82, who died Tuesday at his home in Fruitland, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Methodist Church in Fruitland with the Rev. Raymond A. Thompson officiating.

He was born at Mitland, Mo., March 28, 1876, and came west in 1909. He lived in Pendleton and Vale before coming to Fruitland. He was married to Lulu D. Petts on Feb. 21, 1906, at Burlington Junction, Mo.

He was a member of the Methodist church of Fruitland.

Surviving him in addition to his wife, are three daughters; Mrs. Lena Dye, Everett, Wash.; Mrs. Mariam Davis, Columbia Falls, Mont., and Mrs. Wilma Brown, Torrance, Cal.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Ernest Colwell, Tacoma, Wash.; and one sister, Mrs. Eunice Mulvania, Marianna, Fla.

Interment will follow at Riverside under the direction of the Shaffer Memory Chapel.
