SEVEN YEAR OLD BOY DIES OF LOCKJAW

Glen Eatinger, seven year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Eatinger, of Council, died at the Holy Rosary hospital late Sunday night, the cause of his death being an attack of Lockjaw. He was brought to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Eastman Sunday suffering with the disease, caused from stepping on a rusty nail a few days before.

The funeral was held from the Landon Funeral Home, Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Albert B. Parrett, and the interment made in Riverside cemetery.

Note: Although the paper says Ralph the headstone says the name was Keith Merlin and Keith Merlin is living with Clark Eatinger on the 1930 census. The online Oregon Death Index lists the name as Keith Oatinger. ch
