FRUITLAND - Services for Mrs. Margaret J. Eldridge, 86, of Fruitland, who died of her home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Fruitland Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Earl Traughber will officiate with interment at Riverside in Payette under the direction of the Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel.

She was born Jan. 14, 1887 in Tarpin Valley, Tenn. The family moved to Rogersville, MO, when she was five years old. They later moved to Kansas and in 1905 moved to the Payette Valley. She was married to Frank Eldridge in July 19, 1905 in Payette and they had made their home in Fruitland since that time. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren, the Women's Christian Temperance Union and the Sadie Krost Circle.

In Addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Dr. Franklin E. Eldridge, Lincoln, Neb; three daughters, Mrs. Opal Dickson, Gooding, Mrs. Velma Amick, Youva Linda, Calif. and Mrs. Connie Hansen, Petersburg, Ala; a brother, W.C. Jeffers, Aurora, Mo., 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
