Services for Naomi D. Farson, 91, of Jordan Valley, formerly of Payette, who died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 1984, at a Caldwell Nursing Home of natural causes were conducted Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Jordan Valley United Methodist Church by Rev. Kent Stangland. Interment followed at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Riverside Cemetery in Payette, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.

Mrs. Farson was born Nov. 2, 1892 at Elizabethton, Tenn. to Charles and Dora Sophia Meyer Yount. She moved to Payette in 1914. She married Miles Farson on Nov. 14, 1917 at Payette where she was a well known babysitter in the area until 1971 when she moved to Jordan Valley to live with her daughter. She was a member of N.G. Club at Payette and the Payette United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter Doris Raburn, of Jordan Valley; one son, Miles Farson, of Hemet, Calif.; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
