Mrs. Mary Ellen Fricke passed away on November 28th at her home in this city and funeral services were held on Wednesday at the Peterson-Foster Funeral Home, with Rev. Curtis Officiating. Mary Ellen Cooper was born at Asheville, N. C. on January 30, 1868 and moved to Northern Idaho in 1883. She was married to Fred Fricke at Spokane, Washington on Jan. 1, 1891. Mr. Fricke passed away in this city on Feb. 1, 1938. They were the parents of five children, of whom George and William survive. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. N. A. Cooper, of Portland, Oregon and Mrs. R. E. Aldridge, of Belleville, Ill. and three brothers, John and Joseph Cooper, of Northern Idaho.
