PAYETTE - Graveside services for Edith Florence Gornik, 48, Payette, who died July 2, 1982 at a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Riverside Cemetery, Payette, by Rev.
Paul Gering of the Ontario Assembly of God church, under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette.
She was born January 5, 1934 at Topeka, Kans. to Irvin and Elsie Haslett. She was raised and attended schools in Fruitland and worked as a practical nurse. She married George Gornik June 24, 1960 at Ontario, Ore. They lived in Boise for one year before moving to Payette in 1961.
She is survived by her husband, George, Payette; her parents George and Elsie Haslett, Weiser and a sister, Jean McGuirk, Boise.
Friends may call at the chapel from 3 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until noon Wednesday.
