Lewis H. Greer

PAYETTE - Services for Lewis H. Greer, 77, of Payette, who died Sunday in a Payette nursing home, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel in Payette by the Rev. Gail O'Neil of the First Baptist Church. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Payette.

Born Dec. 19, 1895, at Alton, Mo., he was reared and schooled there. He later moved to LaJunta, Colo. He married the former Pearl Bradley, Aug. 5, 1945, at Raton, N. Mex. They lived at LaJunta until 1946 when they moved to Palmdale, Calif. In 1949, they moved to Payette where they have since resided. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife at home; a stepson, Wayne Bradley, Quincy, Wash.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Bonnie McNabb, Filer, and Mrs. Vinetta Jordan, NuAcres; two brothers, Max Greer, in Kansas, and Raymond Greer, Alton, Mo., three sisters; Mrs. Bonnie Douglas, Downey, Calif., Mrs. Nell Coleman, in Kansas, and Mrs. Lulu Garrett, Siloam Springs, Ark.; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by a son and a brother.
