Pearl Greer

PAYETTE - Graveside services for Pearl Greer, 78, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Riverside Cemetery in Payette. She died Wednesday in a Payette nursing home.

Mrs. Greer was born March 10, 1902 at Lookout, Mo., to George and Maggie Moore. She grew up and acquired her education in the Miami, Mo. area and was married to Walter Bradley in 1919 in Higbee, Mo. He died in 1936. She moved to Chicago in 1944 and in 1945 to Colorado. She was married to Lewis H. Greer Aug. 5, 1946 at Raton, N.M. and the couple moved to Payette in 1947 where she was employed by Shake Packing company. Mr. Greer died in 1947. (this was the date in the paper but SB 1973)

Surviving is a son, Wayne Bradley of Liberty, Ky; two daughters, Vinetta Jordan of Nampa and Bonnie McNabb of Wells, Nev.; a brother Samuel J. Moore of Colorado Springs, and a sister Katie Durnill of Moberly, Mo. A daughter and five brothers preceded her in passing.

Friends may call at the Shaffer-Jensen Chapel from 3-9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday.
