Mrs. T. C. Grove Died at Age 70 In Caldwell Home

Mrs. Tenah Clair Grove, 70, died in a Caldwell nursing home Saturday after a long illness. She was born at Kirwin, Kan., on Jan. 16, 1893. She was married to Lee Grove at Almena, Kan., on March 8, 1911. They came from Phillipsburg to the Payette community in 1942. She was a member of the Nazarene Church.

Surviving are her husband of Payette; four sons, Virgil of Caldwell, Harold of Ritzville, Wash.. Rex of Payette and Wayne of Baker, Oregon; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Hawks and Rolllin Hawks, both of Almena; two sisters, Miss Mary Hawks of Los Angelse and Mrs. Hazel Ingel of Ontario, Oregon.

Services were conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Shaffer Memory Chapel in Payette, with the Rev. Don Castle officiating. Interment followed at Riverside cemetery.
