Betty Guthrie, 61, Payette, died May 5, 1992, at home of cancer. Services were 11 a.m. May 8 at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Sister Masrgie Schmidt of Holy Family Catholic Church, Payette, officiated. Burial followed at Riverside Cemetery, Payette.
She was born May 10, 1930, at Payette, a daughter of Tom and Alice Bulmer. She grew up and attended schools in Payette, graduating from Payette High School in 1948. She went to work for Stanton Transfer in 1960, where she worked until her death. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed playing solitaire and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Randy Korthals of Payette, May and Greg Cleaver of Renton, Wash., and Jan and Eddie Sprague of the U.S. Military, San Francisco, Calif.; a brother, C.E. "Buzz" Bulmer of Fruitland; a sister, Lois Ann White of Vancouver, Wash.; seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
