PAYETTE - Mrs. Lulu May Harper, 91, of Payette, died Monday at a Payette nursing home.

She was born Jan. 12, 1881 at Falk Store, Idaho, near Emmett. She was raised and attended schools in the Weiser area. She married Edward F. Harper, Oct. 19, 1904 in the Masonic Temple in Weiser. They farmed in the Weiser area for a few years and came to Payette in 1914, where she since resided. Her husband died in 1953.

She was a member of the Methodist Church in Payette; a charter member of the Eastern Star Loyaute Chapter No. 19 of Weiser; and the Spanish American War Auxillary.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Letha Solterbeck of Payette; a son, Glen Harper, Payette; and six grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Shaffer-Jensen memory Chapel in Payette by the Rev. Edward V. Hargreaves. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Payette.
