Payette - Imogene Mavis Heidelberger, 53, Payette, died Dec. 25, 1992, in an Ontario hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's United Church of Christ, Payette, with Rev. Bob Keck, officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette.

She was born Sept. 21, 1939, in Ontario, the daughter of Paul and Ruby Johnson Barber. She was raised and educated in the Ontario area and was a 1957 graduate of Ontario High School. On Aug. 26, 1957, in Payette, she married Marvin Heidelberger. They made their home in Payette. Her first job was with Ontario Laundry. She later worked at R&B Market, Payette and at Skaggs in Ontario. She worked several years at Treasure Valley Bank and later for the City of Fruitland until 1984.

She was a former member of Treasure Valley Artist Association and displayed her paintings at several of their shows and at First Security Bank. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ where she was a past Sunday School teacher and a member of the Board of Directors. She enjoyed oil painting and camping.

Survivors include her husband Marvin, of Payette; a son, Larry Heidelberger of Coos Bay; two daughters Loretta Heidelberger of Fruitland, and Mrs. Larry (Linda) Harvey of Payette; her mother, Ruby Barber of Fruitland; two grandchildren, Kristopher and Leah Harvey of Payette; a brother, Ron Barber of Payette; two sisters, Valora Stirm of Payette and Alberta Rhinehart of Fruitland, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Barber; two sisters, Althea Edwards and Adele Barber.
