Payette - Lillie Heidelberger, 101, Payette, died Sept. 29, 1996. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel, Payette. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Payette.
She was born Aug. 18, 1895, in Wheaton, Minn. To John and Augusta Bosch. In 1902, the family moved to Fruitland, where her father farmed. She attended school at Gay Way Junction. In 1918, she returned to Wheaton for a visit where she met and married Emil Heidelberger. After 15 years, the family moved to a farm north of Payette where they raised their children. Her husband passed away in 1967. In 1978, Ray married Ray C. Johnson. He passed away in 1982.
Lillie had been an active member in the Payette St. John's United Church of Christ and the Payette Senior Citizens. She enjoyed raising flowers and gardening.
Survivors include eight children, John of Sacramento, Calif., Betty of Athol, Idaho, Carol of Spirit Lake, Idaho, Louis of Ontario, Marie of Pasadena, Calif., Marvin of Payette, Joan of Auburn, Calif., and Rose of McCall; 32 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel, Payette.
