Fred Helm, 81, Dies At Hospital
Fred Helm, 81, a resident of this city for 25 years died at a local hospital Monday from infirmities incident to old age.
He was born at Prineville, Oregon, May 22, 1863. He was married to Miss Alice V. Henry at Meadows, Idaho, March 21, 1915. They made their home at Riggins, Idaho until they moved to Payette in 1919. He leaves his wife, three sons, Harry E., of Portland; Ben of Lewiston and Claude, of Whitebird, Idaho; one daughter, Mrs. Ora Wicks, of Portland; and six grandchildren.
Services were held at Landon's Funeral Home at 4 P. M. Wednesday, Nov. 1. Mrs. Grace Moss reading services of the Christian Science church. Burial was at Riverside cemetery.
