George Henderson Reported Missing
Staff Sgt. George Henderson, twenty-eight year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Henderson of north tenth street in Payette, is missing in action over New Guinea since March 12, according to a telegram received Wednesday evening from the War Department. The last letter received by his parents was written on March 10th and contained the news of his promotion to staff sergeant. Sgt. Henderson enlisted on March 12, 1942, and went overseas the first of last August.
