Services for Mrs. Laura Ann Hogg, 84, 1036 Second Avenue South, Payette, who died Saturday noon in a Boise nursing home, were held Tuesday at the First Methodist Church, Payette with the Rev. George A. Trobough officiating.
Interment followed at Riverside cemetery, Payette. McBratney-Aiden-Waggoner Chapel of Boise was in charge of arrangements.
She was born Nov. 5, 1881, in Circleville, Kan. where she spent her early life and received her education. She married Thomas Ernest Hogg, Nov. 5, 1902 and the couple lived in Circleville until they moved to Boise in 1902 and to Payette a year later.
Mrs. Hogg was a member of the First Methodist Church of Payette, a charter member and first Worthy Matron of Eastern Star at Centerville, of Lorraine Chapter Eastern Star in Payette, Royal Neighbors, 40-year member of Chapter "C", PEO and a member of the Payette Floral Club.
Survivors include her son Robert A. Hogg, Boise; a daughter, Mrs. Bess Louise Fisher, Phoenix, Ariz; two sisters, Mrs. S. B. Moody, Bellflower, Calif. and Mrs. Charles Gaston, Missoula, Mont.; six grandchildren and three grandsons. Mr. Hogg preceded her in death in 1933.
