Payette - Pearl Ada Hopkins, 67, Payette, passed away March 15, 1998 at an Ontario hospital. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Riverside Cemetery, Payette, with Rev. Mervyn Shay of St. John's United Church of Christ officiating. Services are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette.
Pearl was born Sept. 8, 1930 at Chad, Wash. To Elwen and Lorena Carpenter. She was reared and educated in Starbuck, Wash. She moved to Payette in 1979. Pearl enjoyed her patio flower garden, collecting knick-knacks, dolls and bears. She loved to sing and had a great sense of humor.
Survivors include a sister, Clara Mae Bowles of Payette; close friends, Pat and Tony Garner of Payette, Ron Dalton of Fruitland, and Verna and Dave Miller of Fruitland, and numerous nieces and nephews.
