Bill Hoyle, Sr. Passes at Home
Charles W. (Bill) Hoyle, Sr., 73, of Payette, died in an Ontario hospital Saturday following a three weeks illness. He was born at Lenexa, Kan., on Nov. 20, 1889 and was married to Beulah M. Cox on Nov. 21, 1914, at Kansas City, Mo. They came from Gooding, Idaho to Payette 17 years ago. He was a cabinet maker.
He is survived by his wife, at home; two sons, Robert Hoyle of Carson City, Nev., and Charles W. Hoyle, Jr., of Payette; two daughters, Mrs. Leo Campbell, Adrian, Ore., and Mrs. William Y. Young, of Ft. Lewis, Wash.; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. L. M. Watson of Kansas City. One daughter, Mrs. Paul Baren, preceded him in death.
Services were held Tuesday at the Shaffer Memory Chapel with Christian Science Reader, Mrs. Dora Sargent officiating. Interment followed at Riverside cemetery.
