Payette Pioneer Succumbs in Boise

PAYETTE - Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson Hutchinson, 89, Boise, a pioneer of Idaho and a long time resident of Payette died sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Beveridge of Boise.

She ws born March 8, 1863 in Aberdeenshire, Scotland and came to Meadows, Idaho in 1883. She moved to Payette in 1885 and was married in 1887 to James M. Hutchinson of Payette. Her husband died in 1908. Mrs. Hutchinson made her home with her daughter in Boise for the past 13 years.

Mrs. Hutchinson was a member of the Payette Christian church and the Payette Rebekah lodge.

Surviving are three sons, J. E. of Payette and Hugh G. and John L., both of Boise; one daughter, Mrs. Beveridge of Boise and eight grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at the Shaffer chapel Tuesday at 3 p.m. The Rev. Earl Saladen will officiate and the Payette Rebekah lodge will conduct services at Riverside interment.
