Services Tuesday For George Irwin, Payette Electrician

Funeral services were held Tuesday for George T. Irwin, 65, of Payette, who died at his home Saturday morning after a long illness. He had lived in Payette during the past 18 years.

Surviving include his widow, Mrs. Joy Irwin, of Payette, one brother, Lynn Irwin of Des Moines, Iowa, and two nephews.

He had been a member of the Washoe Masonic lodge. Mr. Irwin was an electrician.

He was born Jan. 17, 1888, in Neola, Iowa and came from Woodbine, Iowa to Payette.

Services were held at the Shaffer Memory chapel Tuesday with the Rev. Herbert Lilly and the Rev. Stanley Andrews officiating. Interment followed at Riverside cemetery with graveside rites performed by members of the Masonic lodge.
