Cecil H. Jack Services Today

Services were held Monday at the Church of the Brethren in Fruitland for Cecil Heyward Jack, 67, of Payette who died Friday in the Ontario hospital.

Rev. Paul Eller and Rev. William Riddlebarger officiated and interment was at Riverside, Payette, under the direction of Shaffer Memory Chapel.

Mr. Jack was born at Eustis, Neb., Feb. 14, 1894. He married Tressie Gae Winslow, March 8, 1916, at Bertrand, Neb. The couple moved to a farm near Nampa from Nebraska in 1920. In 1943 they left Nampa and moved to the Oregon Slope community where they resided until 1960 when they came to Payette.

Mr. Jack was a member of the Fruitland Church of the Brethren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, Heyward Jack of Garden Valley; three daughters, Mrs. Maxine Stewart of Meridian, Mrs. Virla Howard of Nampa and Mrs. Roberta Bender of McMinnville, Ore.; one brother, Chester L. of Eustis; one sister, Miss Elizabeth E. Jack of Hastings, Neb.; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
