Richard L. Jacobs Called by Death
Richard L. Jacobs, 77, former long time employee of the Idaho Power Co. died at his home in this city Thursday following a lingering illness.
Funeral services were held at the Landon-Shaffer Funeral Home Saturday afternoon with the Rev. Paul Felthouse of the Baptist church in charge. Interment directed by Landon-Shaffer was at Riverside Cemetery.
He was born at Belleville, Ill. and the family moved in this city from Caldwell a short time afterward.
Besides his widow, Weltha, he is survived by two step-sons, Joe Stingley of Payette and Byrl Stingley of Eugene.
Mr. Jacobs served as office manager for the Idaho Power Co. in this city for many years.
