Mrs. James Dies After Short Illness
Mrs. L. J. James, 41, passed on at her home here on Sunday following a short illness.
Mrs. Zo Clara James was born Jan. 27, 1904 at Page Center, Iowa the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Morely, of Shenandoah, Iowa. She was married in Red Oak, Iowa to Loren J. James, Sept. 26, 1925. In July 1943 they moved to Fruitland and in Sept., 1945 they moved to Fruitland and in September 1945 to Payette where they have made their home since. Mrs. James leaves her husband and two daughters, Barbara Ann, and Mary Belle, all of Payette, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morley, of Battle Creek, Nebr. and one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Lee, of San Francisco, Calif. Services were held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Landon Funeral Home with the Rev. Cecil Hannan officiating. Burial was at Riverside cemetery.
