Services for Leila B. Jenkins, 93, Payette, who died Tuesday, June 14, 1983, in an Ontario hospital will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 16, in the Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette with Rev. Thomas E. Stevenson of St. Matthews Episcopal church, Ontario officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Payette.
She was born June 10, 1890, in Mapleton, N.D., the daughter of Frank and Martha Herline. She moved with her parents at a young age to New Plymouth, Idaho, where she attended school. They later moved to Payette and she graducated from Payette High School in 1910. She married Reese L. Jenkins on May 17, 1914, at Caldwell. They made their home in Payette until 1920, when they moved to Ontario. They moved back to Payette in 1939. He died in November of 1949. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Payette.
