Services Held For War Veteran
Services were held here Monday afternoon at two o'clock at the Landon-Shaffer funeral home for Eugene Victor Jones, 37, war veteran, who died at a Veteran's Hospital in California last week. A Christian Science reader of Boise conducted the service. Interment was at Riverside cemetery with military rites being conducted at the graveside by the Payette National guard unit.
Mr. Jones was born at Burley on June 11, 1911.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Sally E. Jones; two sisters, Mrs. W. L. Stevens, Payette, and Mrs. George Burger, of Indian Valley; two brothers, Leo Jones, Sacramento, California and George L. Jones, Cameron, S. C.
