Mrs. Samuel J. Kenepp, 73, of this city is dead; her husband also 73 lies in critical condition in Mercy Hospital at Nampa; and Clarence Blair, a truck driver of Spokane, Wn., was also seriously hurt as a result of a collision between the Kenepp's 1947 Plymouth sedan and a large semi-truck driven by Blair at the intersection of highway 20 and the Star road near Nampa last Friday afternoon.

The accident occurred shortly after 1:30 p. m. as the Kenepp car was traveling north on the Star road and the truck, a 40 foot long van, was traveling on highway 20. Both cars were apparently traveling at a fast rate of speed, investigating officers said as the truck overturned and skidded approximately 97 feet before coming to rest horizontally across the road blocking all traffic until it could be moved.

The Kennep car overturned a short distance past the intersection on highway 20 and was completely demolished. Both Mr. and Mrs. Kenepp were hurled from the car onto the pavement and suffered considerable from loss of blood before they could be taken to the hospital.

Blair's left arm was badly crushed as it was caught in the door of the truck as it overturned, and he too lost considerable blood. The truck was owned by the M. Hugo Transfer company of Spokane.

Report from the hospital Wednesday was that Mr. Kenepp was still in a serious condition, although he had regained consciousness.

Following her death, Mrs. Kenepp's remains were brought to the Landon-Shaffer funeral home in this city where they await funeral arrangements.
