S. J. Kenepp Dies Last Saturday
S. J. Kenepp passed away at his home here last Saturday following a long illness as a result of an automobile accident which occurred some time ago. Funeral services were held on Wednesday of this week at the Landon-Shaffer Chapel with Rev. E. Glover in charge and interment was made in Riverside Cemetery.
Samuel Jeremiah Kenepp was born in Pennsylvania October 8, 1875 and came to Payette from LaVerne, California some forty-five years ago. Mrs. Kenepp who was also injured in the same auto accident on the Franklin Lane road into Boise died in October of last year.
Survivors include one grandson, Byron G. Shurtleff of Payette; two sisters, Mrs. M. M. Bitting, Arlington, Va., and Mrs. Elizabeth Rishel, Altoona, Pa., and one brother, Walter I. Kenepp of Nattawa, Pa.
