Funeral Services Held In Payette For Valley Pioneer
Elizabeth Anne Kent, 93, who had lived in the Payette community for sixty-six years, died late Thursday afternoon. She was born August 20, 1859 at St. Johns, Canada and moved to Payette from Grand Falls, Canada.
Her husband Harry Kent, died in 1936.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Earl Kirk, Payette; two sons, Byram Kent of Payette and Charles Kent, Tacoma, Wa.; one sister, nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were Saturday afternoon at the Shaffer Memory chapel in Payette with Rev. Stanley Andrews officiating. Interment followed in Riverside cemetery.
