Olive Kenward Succumbs at 96

Services for Mrs. Olive G. Kenward, 96, Payette pioneer, who died Friday at Ontario were held Saturday in the first Methodist church here with the Rev. George Trobough officiating. Interment followed at the Riverside cemetery.

She was born February 2, 1870 at Tuscola, Ill. She relocated in Glenwood Springs, Colo., where she was a teacher. She was married there to Ira W. Kenward on May 7, 1892. The couple lived in Provo, Utah, and moved to Payette in September, 1902.

Mr. Kenward practiced as an attorney in Payette and died March 6, 1946.

She was a member of the Payette Methodist church, the Harmony Rebekah lodge and the Four L club.

Survivors include a son, John T. Kenward of Yuba City, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Io K. Nesbitt and Mrs. Nellie K. Logan, both of Payette; Mrs. Ruth K. Cate of Pocatello, and Mrs. Myrna Farris of Aberdeen; a sister, Mrs. Ruth J. Perry of Dallas, Texas; 22 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
