Brian Scott Kloster, 13, Walnut Creek, Calif., died March 30, 1997 at home of natural causes. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. James Episcopal Church, Payette, with Rev. John Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Payette.
Brian was born at Walnut Creek on July 13, 1983, to Gary and Christina Kloster. He was raised there and was a student at Walnut Creek Intermediate School. Brian loved to play sports especially ice hockey, and was a member of the Tri-Valley Blue Devils hockey team.
Survivors include his parents, Gary and Christina Kloster of Walnut Creek; a brother, Ensign Mark Kloster of San Diego, Calif.; his grandparents, Glenn and Marge Kloster of Davenport, Wash.; and his aunt and uncle, Larry and Kathy Kloster of Spokane, Wash. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Leslie Bergman of Payette.
