WEISER - Services for Mrs. Wenona L. Korup, 88, of Weiser, formerly of Payette, who died Friday at a Weiser nursing home, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Christian Church, Payette, by Rev. James Holbrook. Interment was at Riverside.
She was born Jan. 14, 1887, at Odebolt, Iowa. She came with her parents to New Plymouth on Jan. 1, 1900. She was married to Carl L. Korup on Oct. 24, 1906, at Payette, where she lived until moving to Weiser in 1972. Mr. Korup died March 22, 1962.
She was a member of the Payette Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Clema Henderson, Weiser; a sister, Mrs. Bird L. Jacobsen, Van Nuys, Calif.; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four nephews and a niece.
Friends may call at Northan-Jones Chapel until noon Monday.
The family suggests memorials to the Payette Christian Church.
