Mrs. Olivine Largent

Olivine Kenward was born at Provo, Utah, August 8, 1901. She came to Payette with her parents at the age of one year, and grew to womanhood here, beloved by all who knew her.

She was a graduate of the Payette High School class of 1919, spent one year at the State University, and taught two terms of school, having been at Hazelton, Idaho, the past year.

On June 13, 1922, she was married to Ira E. Largent, and they made their home in Salt Lake City, with every promise of a bright future before them.

But in less than one month the young bride was stricken with acute appendicitis, was taken to a hospital and underwent an operation, which failed of success, and she passed peacefully away on July 20, 1922, aged 20 years, 11 months and 12 days.

Her mother, Mrs. Ira W. Kenward, was called and was with her during part of her short illness and received the comforting assurance from her that Olivine placed her faith in God, who "giveth his beloved sleep."

The remains were brought to Payette, and impressive funeral services conducted by Rev. Clyde L. Walker, were held at the M.E. church last Sunday afternoon. Many friends attended, and followed to Riverside cemetery, where the body was laid tenderly away beneath a wealth of flowers contributed by loving friends.

Mrs. Largent is survived by her young husband, her parents, four sisters and two brothers, all of whom were present at the funeral.
