Anna Lockhart, 91 years of age, went home to be with the Lord on December 11, 2007, at Heritage Health Care Center in Globe, Arizona.
She was born in Mooreland, Oklahoma, on August 16, 1916, to John and Sarah Geerdes, both deceased, then moved to Freedom, Okla. She married Henry Lockhart on July 14, 1935, and they were married for 56 years.
Henry passed to his new life on October 19, 1991.
She went to the Assembly of God in Payette. She loved working outside in the flower garden and had great love for her dog, Curly. She loved music, played the piano, and loved to watch the Gaither videos. She moved to Arizona with her daughter, Barbara Olsen, who was blessed to have had her in her home.
Anna Lockhart leaves behind in loving memory, her daughter, Barbara Olsen and her husband Merle of Globe, Arizopna, her son, Lou Lockhart and his wife Brenda of McEwen, Tenn. A Sister: Kay Knapp of Austin, Texas, 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many good friends also survive Anna Lockhart.
Her husband Henry Lockhart, son Duane Lockhart, and two sisters Geneva Hancock and Ruby White, preceded Anna in death.
Anna Lockhart will be laid to rest next to her late husband at Riverside Cemetery in Payette.
Miles Funeral Services Globe assisted Anna Lockhart's family with funeral arrangements.
