CHARLIE O. LOCKNER

FRUITLAND - Services for Charlie O. Lockner, 73, Fruitland, who died Sept. 13 at an Emmett nursing home, were conducted Friday at Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, New Plymouth. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery Payette.

He was born Oct. 21, 1903, at Albion, Neb., and as an infant moved with his parents to New Plymouth, and later to Fruitland, where he was reared and educated. He married Mabel F. McConnell, Nov. 23, 1927, at Fruitland. He worked as a blacksmith and in the county road department in New Plymouth and Fruitland. He retired in 1964. He was a member of the New Plymouth Nazarene Church.

Surviving are his wife, Fruitland; two sons, John, Emmett, and Jim Lockner, Rudyard, Mont.; six daughters, Mrs. JR (Mary Ann) Garner, Ontario, Mrs. Owen (May) Putnam, Nampa, Mrs. Glade (Fern) Wakerlig, Boise, Mrs. Wayne (Roberta) Dillon, Chesher, Ore., Mrs. David (Alice) Burks, Junction city, Ore., and Mrs. Jim (Lola) Strong, Lakewood, Calif.; a brother, Arthur Lockner, Fruitland; 25 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
