PAYETTE - Services for Cecil Edward Logan, 67, Payette, who died Tuesday in a local nursing home, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Payette Chapel of the Roses by the Rev. Hayden Abel, pastor of the New Plymouth Baptist Church. Interment was at Riverside.

Mr. Logan was born May 5, 1904 at Dain, Okla. He married Sarah Penner in Kansas. She died in June 1968. He was a carpenter by trade and belonged to carpenter union Local No. 426. He was educated in Kansas and New Orleans, La. He came to Idaho in 1921 with his family. They located at Winchester, moved to Twin Falls and lived two years in Everett, Wash., before coming on to Payette in 1944.

He is survived by four sisters, Mable Sloan, Seattle, Hazel Hawbecker, Winfield, Kan., Ellen Requa, Wendell, and Stella Harsh, Payette; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter in 1957 and a sister in 1950.
