PAYETTE - Services for Fred Loy, 91, New Plymouth, who died Thursday at an Ontario hospital, were conducted Monday at Shaffer-Jensen chapel, Payette, by the Rev. William K. Mansker of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment was at Riverside Cemetery in Payette.
He was born April 11, 1884 in Bernard, Kan. The family moved to Oregon and he grew up at Hood River. He moved to Idaho in 1920 and lived in Wilder and Kuna until 1926 when he moved to New Plymouth. He farmed and was a livestock dealer. He operated the Weiser Livestock Commission co. during the 1940s. He married Audrey Pattison, July 10, 1951, in Blackfoot.
Surviving are his wife, New Plymouth; three daughters, Elsie Henke, Boise, Margaret Loy, Salt Lake City and Linda Loy, Pendleton, Ore.; (unreadable) great grandchildren, a great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Christine Schotz.
