Services Today For James Lynn
PAYETTE - Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at three o'clock at the Shaffer Memory Chapel, for James Lynn of Fruitland who passed away at Blackfoot, Idaho, November 6th. Rev. Albert Rostron will officiate and interment will be in the Riverside cemetery.
Lynn was born in Delray, Ill., Feb. 20, 1876. He was married to Gertrude Malcher (should be Melcher) Dec. 21, 1919, and came to Fruitland from Malheur, Oregon, 32 years ago. He was a member of the Presbyterian church.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Lynn of Fruitland; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Bigsby of Grangeville and Mrs. Lois Ash of Alhambra, Calif.; six grandsons; one great granddaughter; two brothers, Stewart and Archie, both of La Grande; and three sisters, Mrs. Bell Bowman and Mrs. Sadie Easton, both of Portland, and Mrs. Elizabeth Wales of La Grande.
