Emma Main Dies August 11 At Her Home

Mrs. Emma Myrtle Main, 48, died at her home in Fruitland, Sunday, August 11, after a long illness.

She had been a Fruitland community resident for the past nine years, moving here from Philip, S.D.

Survivors include her husband, John of Fruitland; five sons, Gilbert of Payette, Carl L. of Auburn, Wash.; Clarence C. of the U.S. Army in Iceland, Donald E. and Arlie R. both of Fruitland; 8 daughters, Mrs. Francis Pearson of Mediapolis, Iowa, Mrs. Kenneth Jobe of Ancortes, Wash., Mrs. Charles Van Netter, Ontario, Mrs. Tom Gerdau, Payette, June E., Fern A., Arlene R., and Donna S. Main all of Fruitland. One half brother, Edward Bodkin, Philip S.D.; one sister, Mrs. Joe Warner of Silverton, Ore., and 14 grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Main will be announced by the Shaffer Memory Chapel of Payette.
