Nicholas Manser Buried Sunday

Services for Nicholas Manser, who died on Friday of last week at the Payette General hospital on Friday of last week, were conducted at 2:30 last Sunday afternoon at the Landon Funeral home. Rev. Sam Bollinger of the Emmett Brethren church officiated. Burial was at Riverside.

Nicholas Manser was born in New Ellum, Minnesota, November 18, 1870. He came west to Dillon, Montana, in 1900 and soon afterward moved to Payette where he lived until his death. He was united in marriage to Miss Maude Springer of Payette, March 4, 1908. Mr. Manser was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, having joined the organization while in Montana forty-six years ago. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Maude Manser; three daughters, Mrs. Sina Conners of Ontario, Oregon, Mrs. Martha Guiles of Lime, Oregon, and Mrs. Kathryn Yost of Payette; one son, Bill, of Payette; three granddaughters and two grandsons.
