Cleora Masonheimer Long Time Resident, Passes Away

Mrs. Cleora E. Masonheimer, 77, passed away at her home in Payette on Sunday, July 20. She was born in Firth, Nebr., Dec. 16, 1873, and came to Payette with her mother, twin sister and two brothers in 1888 from Firth, Neb. She was married to John K. Masonheimer on January 16, 1900, who passed away in November, 1906.

Mrs. Masonheimer gave music lessons in her home after her husband's death and taught until about six years ago.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Shaffer Memory chapel with Mrs. Mae Epple, reader, conducting the services. Pallbearers were Glenn, Clyde, and Grant Hurt, Earl and Robert Jimerson, and George Bohls, all nephews and grand-nephews. Mrs. Bernard Eastman sang, "My Task," accompanied by Marguarite Fitch, organist.

Interment was at Riverside cemetery in Payette.

Surviving are a son, James C. Masonheimer, Denver, Colo., one grandson, James C. Masonheirmer, Jr. of St. Warren, Wyo.; a twin sister, Mrs. Clarissa Hardiman of Denver, Colo.; one brother Linus T. Clement of Payette, and several nieces and nephews. A son, Louverne, preceded her in passing in 1940.
