ALBERT MEEKER PASSES AWAY SUN
New Plymouth, Jan. 7. (Special to the Independent-Enterprise)
Albert Meeker, 28, died Sunday at the J. F. Slater home near New Plymouth. He was born in Butler, Okla., and reared in Canada. He came to Idaho in 1924 and to New Plymouth about 8 years ago. He is survived by his small daughter, Bertha Meeker, and his father and five brothers, all of Canada, two sisters in Minnesota. He was a kinsman of Ezra Meeker of Oregon Trail fame. An Uncle, L. J. Meeker, lives at Fruitland.
Funeral services in charge of Rev. E. J. Glover were held from the Landon Funeral parlors on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock. Burial was in the Riverside cemetery.
