Services for Letha L. Mitchell, 91, Payette, who died Sunday, June 2, 1985, in a Payette nursing home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette, with Rev. Douglas Field of the Conservative Baptist Church in Payette officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Payette.
She was born Jan. 11, 1894 at Atkinson, Neb., the daughter of Dexter and Nettie Russell. She was reared and educated in Nebraska. She married David Earl Mitchell Nov. 22, 1912 at Bassett, Neb. They lived in Tacoma, Wash. and Florida before moving to Payette in May, 1981. She was a member of the Conservative Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bruce E. Mitchell, Yelem, Wash., and James R. Mitchell of Tacoma; a daughter, Letha M. Brumbaugh of Payette; three sisters, Essie A. Hovey of Inverness, Fla., Esther MacLeam, Tavares, Fla. and Mildred G. Karmen, San Diego, Calif.; eight grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m. at Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette.
