T. Moggridge Rites Set
Thomas Moggridge, 78, Route 1, Payette, died Monday at a Payette nursing home after a long illness.
He was born October 14, 1997 at Minehead, Sommerset, England. He came to Payette in April 1907. he married Myrtle Shearer August 19, 1949. He retired as a farmer in 1961 and he was a member of the First Methodist church. He joined the IOOF lodge No 22, Payette, April 27, 1921, held all the offices in the lodge, including past grand and was a trustee for 30 years. He was a member of Boomerang Encampment, No 64, Harmony Rebekah lodge No 22, Weiser Canton No 16 and Orchard Avenue Grange.
Surviving him are a brother, Bert Moggridge, Payette, several nieces and nephews, two grandnieces and grandnephews.
Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shaffer chapel, Payette, with the Rev. Palmer Wyle officiating. Interment followed at Riverside with faternal rites conducted by IOOF lodge No 22.
