Payette Pioneer Dies. Rites Set
PAYETTE - Albert B. Moss, 71, reportedly the first white baby child to be born in Payette, died Wednesday in a Boise nursing home following a long illness.
Mr. Moss was born in Payette Oct. 12, 1884, and had lived in Payette all his life. He was a member of the Episcopal church and the Masonic lodge here.
Survivors include his wife, Grace of Payette, one son, Anthony B. Moss of Anderson, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. A. ?. Sawyer and Mrs. R. E. Strawn of Boise; three brothers, Fred of Payette, William of Alameda, Calif. and Heber Moss of Payette, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Episcopal church in Payette with the Masonic lodge in charge of graveside rites in Payette.
