Services for Anna C. Moss, 86, of Payette, who died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1984, in a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette. Rev. Robert Hefty of the First United Methodist Church, Payette, will officiate. Private interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Payette.
Mrs. Moss was born Dec. 3, 1897, in Taylorville, Ill., the daughter of James and Mary Ann Anderson. She moved with her parents to Payette in the early 1900's. She graduated from Payette High School in 1919, and attended Albion Normal School. She married Staten Moss on Feb. 17, 1923, at Payette. They had since resided in Payette. Mr. Moss died in 1944. She was a member of the First United Methodist church of Payette.
She is survived by two sons, Tom S. Moss of Idaho Falls and G. Richard Moss of Weiser; a daughter, Shirley A. Moss of Boise; a sister, Ruth R. Anderson of Payette; seven grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, nine brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call today from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette.
