PAYETTE - Services for Cecil Irene Moss, 68, Payette, who died Wednesday at an Ontario hospital, were conducted Monday at Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette, by Elder Ira Fry, Primitive Baptist Church. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery, Payette.

She was born March 28, 1909, at Missouri Valley, Iowa, where she was reared and educated. She married Trenton H. Moss on Oct. 3, 1928, at Missouri Valley. They moved to Kimball, Neb., where they lived until 1932, when they moved to Honey Creek, Iowa, where they farmed. In 1947, they moved to Fruitland and a year later they moved to Payette. She was a cook for Spence’s Café, the Bluebird Café and the La Paloma Restaurant. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church in Iowa.

Surviving are three sons, Marion J. of Council Bluff, Iowa, Roger D. of Caldwell, and Denzel T. Moss of Boise; three daughters, Mrs. Jake (Clella) Pepple and Mrs. Harold (Lois) Kautz, both of Fruitland, and Mrs. Lon (Icil) Baker of Weiser; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Curtis of Missouri Valley; 10 grandchildren, a great-grandson and several nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by three sons.
