Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 11 a.m., at the St. James Episcopal church for Heber R. Moss, 66, of Payette who died Monday in the Ontario hospital.
The Rev. Palmer W. Wylde of the Episcopal church is officiating and interment, under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory chapel will be at Riverside.
Born March 31, 1903, in Payette, he lived his entire life here. His parents were early residents of Payette, and his father, a former mayor, was one of the seven founders of the Idaho Canning company. Mr. Moss was a member of St. James Episcopal church in Payette.
Surviving are two brothers, Fred M. Moss of Payette and William A. Moss of Burlinggame, Calif., and several nieces and nephews. Five brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
The family suggests that memorials be given to St. James Episcopal church in Payette or a favorite charity.
