Thompson Moss Dies in Payette
PAYETTE - Thompson West Moss, 63, died at his home in Payette July 8 following a long illness. He was born in Payette March 12, 1892.
Mr. Moss was a World War 1 veteran and was a member of the original Company 1 of the Idaho National Guard.
He is survived by his widow, Daisy, of Payette, one daughter Mrs. James Stanton of Payette and two brothers, Frank of Nampa and James of Hines, Oregon; a sister, Mrs. Florence Walker of Furlock, Calif., and three grandchildren.
Services were held today (Monday) at the Shaffer Memory chapel in Payette with Rev. John Riley officiating. Interment was in the Riverside cemetery. The Payette National Guard performed graveside military services.
