Jacob Myers, aged about 52 years, died of consumption at his home in this city Monday at 11 o’clock. The funeral was conducted from the M. E. church Tuesday at 1 o’clock. Deceased leaves a wife and four children. He was a native of Indiana, and was a brother of Mrs. A. J. Crook. He was a kind husband and father, working industriously and uncomplainingly as long as he had strength to get about.
