Oberg Service Set Saturday
Margretha Ahrens Oberg, 87, died in her home here Monday evening.
She was born in Schleswig-Holstein, Denmark March 15, 1870. She came to the U. S. from Denmark in 1888. She was married to William Oberg March 23, 1910 in Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. Oberg preceded her in death on May 9, 1955. Mrs. Oberg has lived in Payette for the past 37 years. She was a member of the Non-Denominational church.
Surviving are a son, Otto Ahrens of Emmett; six daughters, Mrs. Tilles Reiher of Emmett, Mrs. Marie Barge of Salem, Oregon, Mrs. Mame Rose of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Pauline Maule, Mrs. Ellen Bigelow and Miss Kathryn Ahrens all of Payette, 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and 4 great great grand children.
Services will be held Saturday at 10:00 A. M. in Shaffer Memory Chapel with the Rev. Percy Hartland officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery under the direction of the Shaffer Memory Chapel.
